After several years of experience in the private chauffeur industry, Michael Jones joined Chabé in March 2025 as Sales and Account Director for the London office.
With a strong background at well-known companies, he brings to Chabé solid expertise in business development, strategic account management, and operational leadership.

To mark his arrival at Chabé London, we sat down with him to discuss his background, his ambitions, and his vision for the future of the agency.

What inspired you to work in the transport sector, and how have you seen it evolve over the years?

What drew me to the world of transportation is its tangible impact on people’s lives. Early on in my career, I realised that mobility is about more than just getting from point A to point B: it shapes our cities, drives economic growth, and connects communities. That real, meaningful value immediately made me want to be part of it.

Since then, the industry has undergone a remarkable transformation, driven by new technologies, environmental priorities, and evolving customer expectations. From digital platforms to fleet electrification and smart traffic management, these innovations have truly reshaped the sector.

Yet despite these changes, people remain at the heart of the service, especially in the luxury segment. Now more than ever, clients seek bespoke experiences, designed with meticulous attention to detail. That human, demanding, and nuanced dimension is what has always inspired me, and what I believe will continue to set us apart in the future.

 

Why did you choose to join Chabé?

What attracted me to Chabé was its reputation for excellence in bespoke transportation and its commitment to delivering a truly luxury experience.

The focus on discretion, attention to detail, and personalisation really resonated with me.
I saw it as an opportunity to join a company where quality and customer satisfaction are core values, and where I could actively contribute to upholding, and even raising, that level of excellence.

 

You know the competitive landscape in London well: what sets Chabé apart in this market, in your opinion?

What truly sets Chabé apart is its unwavering commitment to luxury, bespoke service.
While many focus on volume and efficiency, Chabé prioritises quality, discretion, and client experience above all.

It’s the attention to detail in every journey, and the professionalism of our chauffeurs, that make the difference.

In a city like London, where speed, reliability, and prestige are non-negotiable, this combination of bespoke service and deep operational expertise truly makes an impact.

 

Chabé London is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year. How do you view this milestone, and what are your goals moving forward?

Celebrating Chabé London’s fifth anniversary is a meaningful milestone, especially in such a dynamic and competitive market.
In a short time, the team has built a solid reputation for quality and personalised service. That speaks volumes about their dedication, professionalism, and passion.

As the new Sales and Account Director, joining at this moment is both an honour and a unique opportunity.
My aim is to build on this strong foundation, strengthen our client relationships, explore new growth opportunities, and continue enhancing the Chabé experience.

London is an international hub with strong demand for bespoke services, particularly in private aviation, hospitality, business travel, finance, especially roadshows, and events.
The opportunity now is to leverage this century-old legacy: expand our client portfolio, forge new strategic partnerships, and continue raising the bar for service excellence.

I truly believe there’s still so much more we can achieve.

 

What is your vision for the role of Sales and Account Director at Chabé?

To me, this role goes far beyond driving revenue. It’s about building long-term relationships and ensuring that every client interaction reflects Chabé’s standards of excellence.

It means being proactive, not just reactive, anticipating client needs and offering bespoke solutions, with a focus on the finest details.

It’s also very much a team effort. By working closely with our operations teams and chauffeurs, I will make sure our commercial promises are delivered seamlessly on the ground.

My goal is clear: to position Chabé as the number one choice for premium transportation in London, while staying true to what defines us, quality, discretion, and attention to every detail.

I’m truly thrilled to be joining the Chabé team at such an exciting time.
The company’s legacy of over 100 years of excellence is deeply inspiring, and I’m proud to be part of that story here in London.
